Baltimore Bead Results #2

50th post! Wow!

Back in March, my husband and I went on a trip to Baltimore and ended up finding ourselves in a very unique bead shop. You can find out more about that trip here:

Beads + Baltimore = Happy Me

Since then, I have been trying to figure out what to do with the black and white beads. I wanted something pretty, and I didn’t want the piece to be too flashy. The beads needed to be the center of attention.

Over the weekend I finally took some time to work with some of the black and white beads, and this is what I came up with…

It fulfills my elegant simplicity goal very well. At first I was afraid it looked too simple, but the beads are so bold that if I add too much too them, the piece would look over-the-top. I still have the other beads to play with if I want something more interesting.

I like this set because it’s simple enough to wear with a black t-shirt and khaki pants, or you can wear it to a nice event with a little dress. Maybe a red dress so you don’t have too much black.

Thanks for stopping by!
